Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I have two plants that are doing so well and growing that they need bigger pots and some fresh soil. My Baltic Blue Pothos and Monstera Deliciosa recently got a repotting and loving the extra room. Enjoy!

Hope you n yours made it through through the Hurricane safely. 🙏
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants lovely
For whacking roots look into a hori hori knife.
Your Sitting Room is looking lovely!! Have three very large ceramic planters that I can only turn in place that haven’t been repotted in years and not likely to be repotted in my lifetime. Two or three times a year, poke holes as deep as possible into the soil using a 17 knitting needle and then top dress with worm castings - aerates the soil and worm castings fall down the holes.

I can relate to the monstera, mine has 9 leaves but is about 4 feet wide 😮😂 I'll keep an eye on yours and maybe follow suite... it's swallowing up my bedroom 😉 Thanks for sharing 😁
Oh, Carmen. I wish yourself, your family, and your fellow Floridians all good wishes for Hurricane Ian recovery. Your monstera guidance is timely for me as I have one on my So Cal patio that is root bound.
Just checking on you I don’t how hard the storm hit where you live hope you are doing well praying for you
They look beautiful 😍 thank u for sharing

No problem 😊
Hey Carmen! Great to see a video on your repot. I need to whack my monstera deliciouso in 3rds. It’s way too huge & growing sideways but that’s what happens when they spend the majority of their time outside under the trees. Lol If I don’t divide it up, it’s gonna take up half my livingroom. Last year, when I went to pick up the pot to bring it in for the winter, the arial roots had grown into the ground from the top of the pot. I was so surprised! I had to pull all of those roots from the ground then cut them off in order to bring inside. (It didn’t seem to mind, though.) Hate to have to give it a whack but unless I move into a much bigger house, it’s got to get done. Lol Hope you are enjoying FL. We’ll be heading to Panama City Beach next week for a week. Take care! Hugs from GA

Enjoy your time in Panama City, sounds like a lot of fun!
They both look happy and have very healthy roots! 💚🌵🌱☘️
The only thing that I would have done differently is maybe added a bit more soil to the bottom of the pothos pot. That way the long roots would have more room to stretch their feet before outgrowing the pot again.
You’re so knowledgeable and I always learn something new about plants from your videos. I’m happy to see I’m using the Fox Farm soil too, like you. Rosie is too funny getting mad about her haircut lol. Thanks for another fun video Carmen.
Looks great!

Thanks!
God bless Carmen, that corner of your living space is so beautiful, I love your aesthetics. My Monstera Deliciosa also grows to the sides and it's so large I had to move it to my hubbies office cause it takes up too much space. I wanted to ask you, do you collect rain water in Florida? If you do, I would love to see a video on that :) From El Paso TX - Cinthia :)
Your plants are looking so healthy. I really appreciate your content, so enjoy you transplanting, you make it so informative and enjoyable, thankyou.

I'm so glad you enjoy it. Thanks for your support.
Love the grow light! 😍 I need to incorporate that into my plantscape.
My split leaf philodendron was just getting too much for me and no longer a joy to have. I sold it online and I feel like a gorilla has climbed off my shoulders! I’m going to focus on succulents like snake plants and zz plants with a couple haworthias. I’ve been able to share with others and hope others will get some happiness!

It's a vigorous grower for sure. Good luck!
My Baltic Blue was a mealie bug magnet. I gave up and she’s gone 😢 Yours is amazing. You might want to try to put a Velcro strip around your Monstera and tighten it a little bit each day to bring it up. It’s worked for me.

Love the relaxing repot Carmen🙌. Your plant babies will thank you for it too😉. I also bought the Baltic blue from costa farms and the coir kept on drying out on me and I also had to repot it in chunky soil. Rosey your new do is totally you, it makes you look more adorable if it’s possible 🥰🐶

Hi Laura, thank you so much for those kind words. I was wondering why you stopped commenting on Jewelyns channel, but glad to know that you are still around 😊. Carmen is such a sweet and genuine person, she is one of my faves🤗
I'm having trouble with my Baltic I think it's over watering because the leaves are turning yellow
You mentioned using worm castings on your plantsl. I'm wondering how you apply it. Do you use it as top dressing or just mix it in the soil? Is there a noticeable difference in the growth when you use it? Love your videos.
@carmenwhitehead

When I use actual worm castings, I mix it into the soil. The liquid fertilizer I use now is made from worm castings. I put 2 ounces into a gallon of water.
