    I see that you introduced fertiliser in the soil when re-potting, is this sufficient or will you have to keep topping up ?

    I received an 18 inch olive tree 3 weeks ago. I replanted into a 10 inch pot with fresh organic soil. I placed it in my bathroom that has an eastern window. I have watered it twice. All but two bottom leaves have curled up and fallen off. Help me!

    Hello John - thank you for watching our video and for your question If the leaves have shrivelled it sounds as though it hasn’t had enough water or it’s been kept in too hot conditions They can take down to -5C so keep it on the cool side until it has recovered and established and also keep it well watered All the best 🌸

    Personally I wouldn't be so keen on obstructing that single drainage hole for something like an olive tree, which generally detest damp roots. The jury's out on how useful crocks actually are in general. For similar reasons I prefer to increase the pot size bit-by-bit, rather than jumping to something significantly bigger. Some good tips otherwise.

    Hello FollowYourHeart - thank you for watching our video This time of year it’s minimal pruning you need not hard pruning just taking out congested or crossed over branches and cutting back branches into shape - thin out branches to let light into the centre of your tree In the meantime keep safe 🌸

    You'll never get it out of the new pot again when you need to up-pot it! Not that shape pot, you'll need to break the pot or severely root prune the plant
