    Wrong. The new bushing when pressed down was deformed by material being carved out from the bushing. That's not the way to replace these bushings. Terrible example to "teach" here in youtube.

    Seems to be a lot of material lost from the od of the bush when pressing the first one in. The finger reem made me laugh too.

    Measure the OD of the wrist pin and the ID of the new bushing darn it!

    makes it unsmooth to promote better oil flow, and to endure a better fit if the bushing isnt allowing the pin to move freely.

    It does a really good job of turning a cylinder into an hour glass or a beer barrel shape, hopefully an oval as well, for that little extra.

    Doesn't really make a difference.. after just a minute of pulling it off the heat, itll even itself out.
