I tried to clean the clogged washer valve using baking soda and vinegar, and rinsed it with hot water. I installed again and It did not work at first. After I watched this video, I learned that I installed it in a wrong way. I follow the proper installation I saw in the video, and it is working now. Thanks.

Thanks for this video. Turns out my shop installed the check valve backwards when replacing my hood so this helped me figure that out.

Useful! Did not know my Avalon had a check valve; thought it was a bad nozzle, turns out I was wrong. Thanks.

Thanks! I had a mouse open my washer tank and fall in (two, actually. I guess his buddy jumped in to save him and drowned too). Their fur eventually soaked off and clogged the check valve. I took the old valve off but neglected to note how it was oriented. Your video helped a lot. I put a screw on the washer lid to keep the mice out. Man, I hate mice.

Fantastic video. Showing how the check valve works and how it should be connected saved me time and money. My wife's car was in a minor accident and had to have the hood replaced. When they put it back together the windshield sprayer wasn't working but my wife never mentioned it. Months later I use the car and discover the problem. I determined that washer fluid was making its way yo the check valve then stopped. I thought I had a defected check valve but this video showed me it was just installed incorrectly. Thank you.

Thanks for this. I thought one of my nozzles were bad, but it turned out it was the valve, just like yours, but just slow on one side. I ordered a replacement since they were only about $5 on ebay, but in the meantime substituted a "T" joint I had from another project. The T joint works fine, but it takes about 3 seconds for the water to start. Since I'm seeing so many of these fail on just one side or the other, I'm thinking of maybe leaving out the valve until the next time I have to fix something under there.

Hi, Could the delay in the spraying of the washer on the driver's side be related to a malfunctioning valve?

Hi. There are two connections at the side from where water flows. On your video it is not clear which one comes from the water pump and which from the right windshield nozzle. Could you please clarify?

Welding and stuff This is what I say. There are two connectors at the left side. So one is the intake and the other is out. Sorry for possible misunderstanding.
