Hey, i ordered a set without new bolts for anything. I bought bolts for dampener separate. Is it essential to change bolts. Do they stretch while torqueing like dampener bolts and headstuds. Or i it jus recomanded to change them

hi new bolt usually coming with timing belt kit and is essential to change them. regards

@@4wheelsbyDavid they did not come with kit. Bought a kit from febi, will have to talk with audi dealership then

I got the kit but no instructions on how did they made the change to tensioner and why. Does it have a proper place to sit in?

Dear friend..I have same model and engine, I have done full service but miss timing definitely...when I try to start,car started and shut off immediately. Can I re-timing it again so it can start and drive normally??

yes how it happened? just get locking tools and adjust it properly like on this video. make sure that whole is set up properly. good luck. let me know how it works

@@4wheelsbyDavid Stupid problem...battery dead... Every time I start the car, it immediately turns itself off, similar to the problem with the immobilizer when the car turns on and immediately turns off. Diagnostic said "energy management active" and in possible causes stand "battery discharged/faulty"...offcourse,battery on car was dead..11,7v

My tensior belt is maybe 2 cm left from the mark. I have to worry? I have only 80k km

looks like belt is loose, better replace it.

just do it once and properly, full timing belt kit + water pump. how old is your timing belt?
