Where did you find the right cover?

Thanks, the best instruction videos are the ones where you say nothing! Doh, I would have put it in upside down if I had not watched this first.

You can purchase Waveguide Cover Mica Sheets online, eBay or Amazon and cut to size. Or you can purchase the correct waveguide cover from Panasonic spare parts

What are these for? Are they important? As mine has torn and has a hole, please help

It’s a wave guide cover (mica plate). It covers the waveguide system that feeds microwave energy into the cavity. The mica sheet prevents food and contaminants from reaching the microwaves electrical components. If you operate a microwave with a burnt, chipped, or cracked mica plate food may splatter inside of the microwave guide cavity leading to permanent damage or even complete failure of the unit.
