la bomba de agua esta con esa polea redondeada, hay que de sacar los siete bulones que lo agarran al block y desprender la bomba inyectora, obvio previo sacar su polea, muy buen video de todos modos a mi me sirvio porque buscaba para cambiar la bomba de agua en realidad

Hi friend. Thank you for your tutorial. I wanted to change the water pump. Do we have to dismantle the pulley of the injection pump to be able to remove the water pump? Or can you dismantle the entire injection pump without removing its pulley? Thank you

A good thorough video, well done. Im planning on changing the timing belt on a rav4 with the D4D engine. It seems quite an involved timing belt to do compared to a PSA XU DW Diesel, i see you work on Citroens, id even say the ES9 V6 is easier to do than this. I had a read at the Haynes manual and the water pump on these requires even more parts to be removed, is it worth changing the pump at the same time?

Thank you. For this engine, unless it's necessary I don't change the water pump.

Water pump should be replaced and additional accessory belts as they are few pounds each...

I changed the waterpump in my car with the D4D engine i only had to remove the pulley on the Diesel pump, to Get it done.

For anyone reading this .... The original water pump will do over 250k miles. ... The belts will do over 100k. There are a couple of fiddly bits changing the belt, but I managed it and I'm just a plumber.

Failsafe in case of lose belt i quess. It prevent the belt from having any posibillity from skipping a tooth on the camgear/pulley.

Ask in a Toyota dealer and they will print off their instructions. They are really good.

You don't have to time the injection pump on a common rail engine. Just crank and cams

Имам същия модел Тойота авенсис 2005 дизел мисля че ще направим двама без майстор време да сменим ремъкът защото не знаем кога е сменим дали минал много километра затова реших да го сменим иначе не мога да платим толко много пари иска майстор по добре направим си сам като виждам приложение как се мени ремък може да станем като ученик да се убучава като практика. 😊
