In this video I document step by step on how to open the Ninebot One so you can service it and replace the inner tube. Once I'm done I demonstrate how to reassemble it.

Very useful - thanks! Haven't tried on the Ninebot yet, but on bikes I like to put a little air in the tube before fitting the tyre back on the rim, to reduce the likelihood of the tube getting twisted or pinched by the tyre.

I have a different solowheel, and putting back the tyre was much much harder. I think you can put the last bit of the tyre on much more easily by pushing in the tyre starting at the opposit and finishing at the point where you want to tuck in the tyre.Repeat the other way. Tyre levers help too. But good video:)

I don't know what happened, I didn't even take mine apart or anything...I just put some air this morning, then suddenly the wheel wouldn't go all the way around. Something was hitting somewhere...I deduced that it could only be the schraeder valve hitting something on the inside, but I can't figure out why or how to make it be back to normal. I don't want to have to break the whole thing down like you just did...thought I'd just ask around first if anyone ever had that happen after putting air, and is there an easy fix?? I just got this from ebay and haven't even had a chance to ride it yet!!

NAH! Ask your LBS about inserting that tube - you need just enough air in it to smooth it out so there are no wrinkles. It's much easier to insert then - it isn't more than 2-3 pounds pressure. That way you are also much less likely to end up with a wear-line and pinch-flat caused by a wrinkle. Also, I would use the old tube like a tire liner. Just cut off the valve stem and slit the tube around the inside and wrap it around your new tube before you install it. Truth - the thicker the tube the better the puncture resistance. You can do more than one even, or use any 16-inch bicycle tube as a sacrifice - even the super-HD ones. Just don't try to use a solid inner tube - they defeat the entire point of pneumatic tires. They will increase rolling resistance a lot.

Jay, just a thought . a slip of Vaseline around the wheel and tyre rim will help the tyre slip on to the wheel rim more easily.

they sell tube liners at most bike shops i think they are cut to size and you install it in the tire then the tube.and they have different thickness.it's been a while like 20 year since I've used one.I think they still have them? i use to get thorns on my bike like every other week till i started using them.it stopped that.hope it helps.hope they still sell them.

thanks but even though the tire says 40 to 70 psi the correct psi is like 35 to 40 i was filling it up to what the inner tube and tire was saying but its wrong. so i was over filling the inner tube that plus im 200lbs.

i found its hard to control the euc if the tire pressure too high due to lose of traction to road. i find 35-40 is the best tire pressure for euc.

you really need to buy your self new proper tools. and a small electric drill with fittings for screwdriver ends and allen type ends makes things much easer and faster.just get a drill where you can set the torque too, as not to strip the screw or what it attaches too. like plastic or aluminum.but other than that thanks for the video.
