I, an idiot, managed to just change the belt in my 05 by myself all because of this video. I appreciate you making it.

I realize I'm kind of randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released movies online?

Dude all how to vids need to tale lessons from this ...great job!!!
Ron - Many thanks for your tutorial on new belt routing sequence. Out of all videos posted of this procedure, your is the most efficient!
i think is the best instruction video on serpentine replacement i've seen so far. Thanks!
Thank you so much, it's rare to find a video from an actual professional.
Thank you. My belt broke at 156,000 miles 5 minutes away from home and left me racing back with no water pump or fan. Made it just in time and thanks to your your video it only cost me the price of a new OEM belt
Thank you for this! Did my 05 in 20min.
Wow, what a great video. You are really good as both a technician and a teacher. You could not have explained this any better and to do that on one take without editing demonstrates your talent. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It's people like you that make the world a better place and I wish your shop was in my area.

@@SandCarServices Yeah you da man Ron. Did it in 15 minutes with no jacks needed!
Thanks for this, Ron. Your video helped me do this in less than 45 minutes, and that included lifting & setting up jack stands and chocks and taking it all down when I was done. Your instructions were perfect. Kudos!
Thanks Ron, just replaced my drive belt for my 2007 Taco V6. Great tutorial! Saved me $65, but took me about an hour because I took time to clean/power wash the engine.
Ron, this is one of the best instructional video by far in replacing serpentine belt. Thank you!!

Thank you. Its refreshing to hear a positive comment.
The tensioner tip about the hole and detent was a great and I doubt I would have ever figured out how to get it over the fan blade.. so thanks a bunch.. It made the job super easy
thank you for a great instructional video! clear and easy to follow. why in the world are there thumbs down? must be the same people that get upset because there are clouds in the sky.
Holy crap another commenter said exactly what I was thinking- all youtube tutorials should be like this. Clear. Concise. Impossible videography subject (wayupinthere!) done as well as anyone could. Great instructions. Wish I had a gd lift… Thank you!
Best video so far for serpentine belt removel and replace. Great educational video.
Ron, great video. Going through the undercarriage to replace the belt is the way to go, incredibly quick and easy. Thanks for posting!
Excellent job. Keep making videos for the Taco! Just followed these instructions and got it done in 10-15 minutes. Bought the same exact belt on Amazon.

What part number is it at Amazon ?
Honest , straightforward and clear instructional video - thanks
Excellent video! One of the best automotive repair video I have seen!
Jacks are for jacking, jack stands are for holding the vehicle up - very good point. Very clearly explained video. Seems like he would be a good guy to work for.
For a first time DIY’er, this video taught me how to change my serpentine belt on the same 06 tacoma and gave me confidence to do so. Thanks Mr Ron W! Did it in less than 15 minutes from under, after studying this vid for a while.
Thank you very much for the thorough, clear and concise explanation. I gained the confidence to dive-in and replace the belt on my ‘06 Tacoma because of this video.
Thanks! did it on the ground and it was pretty easy with the info you gave. Appreciate it!
That looks way easier than I anticipated. Going around the fan was genius. Thanks so much.
Great video! Following your procedure it took me 15 minutes with my vehicle flat on my carport. No lift stand necessary.

My man! I was wondering if jacks were really necessary.
Hey Ron, thanks for this video. Just saved me an hour of messing around.
Thank you for the amazing easy video!! My wife changed her belt in about 15 min all my herself!!
Your video was extremely helpful. My brother in law just called, stranded on the highway about an hour away with a broken belt. He has no tools and little in the way of mechanical experience. I was able to order a new belt and actually have it delivered to his location (amazing!) and when I got there, the belt had already arrived. I inspected the idlers as you recommended and found one to be frozen, likely the cause of the broken belt. So we ordered a new idler from the same outfit and they had it in stock and delivered it once again. It took about 40 minutes for the part to arrive but five minutes later, they were back on the road. Thanks to your helpful video for saving me time by knowing what to do, what tools would be required, recommending replacement from below, and recommending checking the idlers. This certainly saved them a subsequent break down, as the new belt would have not lasted long with a frozen idler. Much appreciated!

PS: Clicked on your "donate" link but it appears to be broken :(
Fantastic walkthrough. Thank you for making this. You just saved me a quoted $300 to do this job at the dealership.
Amazing video. My 05 Tacoma started making a random ticking noises and this solved it. If you hear a random tick in an 05 tacoma, I highly recommend replacing the belt. My belt had obvious problems in some places and clearly had some wear. My tacoma didnt have the option to "lock" the tensioner so my fathers help was needed to remove the belt and on the finishing part to slide the belt back on.

Sometimes the ticking comes from the driver side and its the high pressure fuel injection. Look it up cause I think a small or slight tick is normal for this gen.
Hey Ron, that was so good you just got a new subscriber
Just changed my belt using your video..thank you for the simple detailed instructions, great video!!
Great video, thanks! Yes, the best I have seen on this subject.
Thanks. This way is so much easier.

You saved me a lot of time and some money!!! Thank you.
Great coaching! You explain it super simple, great video!
I've looked at few video's and yours is absolutely excellent. I'm somewhat disabled but I'm going to give it a a try. Hope the idler's are ok on my 04 Tacoma. Thank you.
great video, thank you! helper grunting in the video was a huge bonus.
Thanks, just did serpentine belt replacement because of you
Thanks so much! I watched 4-5 diy videos before I learned about the lock on the tensioner and how much easier it is to replace from underneath.
Great video. Used enough lighting for everyone to see the removal and replacement with great clarity.
The best video for doing this job that I have seen. Getting ready to do mine. Thanks for the video!
Watched this video again last weekend, install of new belt was successful. The only thing I suggest to anyone is wipe off the gunk on the radiator fan shaft first, although I wore goggles a lot of debris fell on me. Thanks for posting ur video, very helpful👍🏼. By the way I replaced the original belt on my 2006 Taco at 219,000 miles. I don’t suggest you wait that long.😂
This video just made the job enjoyable! Thanks for the great info
Great Video especially about holding the tensioner with an Allen wrench!!

Thank you for this video. It sure helped me out. The little pointers made this job a breeze ! One question. I replaced the serpentine belt with new Toyota Bando which I got from Amazon. At two ends they have a small l sticking or threads that are on the top of the belt. Is this normal ... Stitching does not go all the way through
Thank you Taking it to a dealer is very painful. They don't even give kisses out at the end!!!
that was great! thank you
Thanks for sharing
muchas gracias buen video . nice video good tips

Great video! I’m mechanically inclined this thing was awesome. Do you know if you can rebuild the AC compressor pulley bearing I know they sell a kit is it difficult?
