Thank you! Best reader just for now. Change battery frome Ali Exp & youre guide.

Replaced my battery. Did a reset. As good as new. Took about 20 minutes and £10 (about $16).

Книжка лежала с намертво убитым аккумулятором лет 5. Купила на Али , заменила по вашему видео, оно самое хорошее. Книжка включилась. Вкл-выкл работает. А остальные кнопки умерли. Вроде бы и шлейф хорошо закрепила.

На 1:47 я отключаю кнопки. Проверьте что при сборке подключили их как следует обратно 😊

Mi pc reconoce el dispositivo, lo cargue con un cargador de 5V y enciende la luz roja pero no la pantalla por mas que lo cargue 4 horas tambien lo cargue con usb y nada .... cuando sincronizo aparece la luz naranja pero la pantalla no enciende ... que podria estar pasando....muchas gracias

I did something wrong because the number strip was completely unresponsive. Nonetheless a nice video.

Hello, we were doing all ok until we replaced the battery and was sliding it in. We wanted to check if everything was ok, but after plugging it in to charge, the red charging light never came on. We connected the old battery, still no red light. None of the wires/ cables seem to be damaged. What do you think happened?

Thank you, checking them but all seem to be in place. The screen froze with the menu even though we removed the battery… that’s interesting too. I assume it’s because it’s e-ink and it just is stuck with whatever was on the screen before the battery died?

@@billp5864 check the charging cable with another device make sure its working properly

@@VitallyZilber yes, did that too... it actually powered up when we connected it to a laptop, but I am assuming something is wrong with the charging because it looks like it's now dead, because the power was too low in the batteries we tried, and it's now dead.

disassemble and make sure you connected all the cables related to these buttons.
