How to replace the air filter in the GMT900 Tahoe
Most of the GTM900 Tahoes for some reason do not come with a cabin air filter and most folks do not know that you could be breathing in fresh air. We also tackle to upper dashboard panel trim and the door panel mirror trim.
These fixes made the Tahoe feel so much nicer to drive, I tell you hwhat

Love your video on Tahoe. First time checking your channel,. Going to subscribe
I just ordered a new cabin air filter for my 2001 Tahoe.
Even with the dash repair, I'd be hesitant to snap that panel in with clips. I'm going to remove the clips and will let gravity keep it in place. I've repaired the original panel several times now and it's been in place without clips for years with no rattling or other issues.
A utility knife with a brand new blade makes for a much cleaner job when doing the cabin air filter. Just be careful and go slow. 4-5 slow cuts is all that's needed to get through the plastic cleanly.
For that third, almost impossible to reach screw that covers the hvac box...It's not meant to be removed. The panel has a larger hold where that screw goes so you can just pop the panel off the screw and pop it back in over the screw.
Does this also apply to the Yukon

It should. Removing that plastic cover might be a bit different though

You did an amazing video. However, I am a woman so how am.I supposed to change it myself. Is there an easy way to change it instead of making the cut. I don't get it why!!! Nice video though.
