I got extremely lucky owning two of the cars you do tutorials for. I like working on cars, but my confidence level is pretty low. Your tutorials have saved me tons of money and given me the confidence and satisfaction doing it myself. Thank you!

Great video quality and very helpful. Quick question, how are these struts holding up? I used Monroe in the past and did not have a great experience with them, so just curious. Thank you.

For a 2017 honda civic what would be the torque for front struts for flange nuts on top?

Great video. I'd love to see you do this on a rusty New England car like I have. I suspect mine won't go as smoothly. But I'm about to find out. Woohoo!

@@djlancer88 I'm afraid I ended up sustaining a fairly gnarly injury on a hike i did. So I opted for paying my mechanic to do it.

Thank you for the video. Would you happen to have a suggestion for what to do when the bottom end of the strut hits the CV joint of the drive shaft? The Monroe Quick struts I'm trying to install are supposed to fit into an 02' Honda, but I cannot get them to fit properly. I believe it is the drive shaft. It is the rod part at 5:45 that is attached to the axle perpendicularly.

WOW! FIrst comment! Stupid question for you: I have an 04 Avalanche with 180k miles on it. When if ever would you recommend changing out the springs and how do you know when you need to? Btw, got coils on the rear wheels and its 2wd. Thanks.

I think so, to not damage anything. Yes you could totally drive it right to a alignment shop after you replace it. Thanks for watching!
