On this video I am showing how easy it is to change air filter on your Renault Megane I in my case 2000 petrol 1.4 16V (BA series 1998-2002) model.
To do this job you will need only a new air filter and a screwdriver with T20 head!
Overall this work will take around 5 minutes and it is very easy to do it.
Why should you replace your air filter, well first of all, if you want to improve your engine performance, second as well your engine life, since filter will eventually get very dirty as mine.
If you live in area where air quality is poor, I definitely recommend you to replace your car air filter regularly, since they cost approximately $5 and it is super easy to change them on your Renault Megane.
If you are not sure if you should replace the air filter, it is easy to check them out as well, just open the bolts and inspect the filter, if it will be very dirty, just change it :)
