The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms. This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade.

Thank you for your professionalism and your know-how, I've been wrenching a little over 15 years and I was actually showing my brother some videos you are the only person a majority of the videos that has done everything correctly and recommended in alignment. There are so many videos where they skip steps and a few of these guys have told people don't get alignments you can get it perfectly by just counting your threads which is such garbage thank you for your professionalism.

Thanks for posting, did my 2014 GMC Yukon with no problems yesterday. Had to use a larger crescent wrench to get inner loose, but it was no worries.

I noticed the old tie rods on the vehicle had grease fittings. The new ones don’t. Is that by design? Won’t the news tie rod ends wear out more quickly without the outer end being greased?
