1988-1992 Do not have an idler arm like this. They also have different power steering and brake systems.

According to A-1Auto's own website, the part they show in the video and that they link to is not the right part for the 92 pickup. This guy is doing an '89. Should be the same on an '89-'92. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eJ2Dmcuxd6TIgLA.html&ab_channel=Seal-N-ShineDetailing

My only problem is I really need a pickle fork I have tried everything from ball joint puller‘s to tire rod pullers none of those pullers work you have got to have a pickle fork. I got one coming in the mail now but I don’t have an air hammer soo I’m gonna have to do some swinging with the sledgehammer

+Jason Campbell generally the idler arm is attached between the opposite side of the center link and pitman arm and the frame.

The 2wd trucks are terrible they have a frame bulge that doesn't allow you to pull the arms without removing the stupid idler bracket. I would assume it's either stupidity or something to do with steering protecting during a crash.
