I have an 2015 5.0 Genesis. Unfortunately this is a design flaw in these models. The turn signal is working double time because of the DRL feature. You have to turn the DRL feature. I don’t care which bulb you choose to use. Whether LED or incandescent. It will burn out prematurely

any update on this? has it helped? i'm still dealing with this as well.. actually got the car lemon law'd because of it

Sadly, LEDs do not work well on it, I have tried, however, I will do more research into it.

Had my driver socket go bad and had to get it replaced. Now I just drive it in parking light mode during the day and don't use the DRLs. Problem solved. I might look into doing a mod making the LED strip the DRL. You need to do 1 of 3 things to get around this problem: 1. Drive during the day with the lights in DRL OFF 2. Drive during the day with the parking lights on or with the headlights on. 3. Modify it so the LED strip is the DRL, or replace the bulbs with LEDs. The last option is the only one where you can retain the automatic function of the lights. If you don't do one of the three things, you will be constantly burning through bulbs and sockets. I know you don't have this car anymore but I hope this will help anyone who has this car who is frustrated by the front turn signals.

Yeah for sure. This was one of the most hated things about this vehicle. Other than that I loved the car when I had it.
