Thanks for this video! It was clear and easy to follow whether you are upgrading the mirrors or just replacing a damaged one.
Don't try to replace this mirror without these instructions. Thank you they were very helpful.
Thanks so much for this video! This guided me through the uneasy process of opening up my door and almost even made it easy.
This saved my sanity, thank you.
Excellent video.
Very good video, just switched out mirrors on a 2017 2500hd, appreciate your detailed instructions.
One comment for those with a manual crank window: you will have less screws to pull but you will need to remove the crank by pushing in on the door interior and popping out the clip that holds it in. I used a pick set that was less than $2 from Harbor Freight
My 2015 Silverado doesn't have power windows or mirrors. They are manually controlled (by hand), therefore it doesn't have the push button console underneath the door handle. There is no pull off panel, it seems to be all one piece of plastic. Does this mean there is no 7 mm. bolt there, and there are only 5 bolts holding the panel?
Do you have a video for tow rearview mirrors but with the signal lights installation. I bought some with the signals lights etc but my truck doesn’t have that, it has the basic lights installed.
Thank you so much!!!
Just think, the same job on a f150 of simialr model years only has 3 bolts and you dont gotta take the whole door apart
You forgot to put the weather strip on top of the door panel back on...
Great video as always. Thank you
How do you replace just the plate mirror ,pop out without replacing the the mirror
It's a shame to have to remove the whole dang door panel!
Long story. Please be patient. The Transmission is not on the truck (being rebuilt). Turning the key to on position the truck has no life, cause the computer knows the trany is not in, Right? I've installed the new mirror (I bought from you) , only to the point of the plugging in the mirror plug. Next, would be plugging in the big door panel plug, right? So, since truck shows no signs life from computer when I turn the key forward, leading me to believe I should NOT go any further, Right? Order# 2DVH15MOVLW . I look forward to your reply confirming my suspicions. I'm Garson's wife, Jackie Weymouth. Garson is helping 1 of our children in Phoenix and won't be home till 8/29/22. I'm just trying to get as many things replaced on this truck before he returns. This truck is from a Non-Profit 501c3 Appalachian Legacy Initiative and they need their truck soon. That's why I'm installing parts for it. Your video was very good helping me remove door panel, plugs and damaged mirror. Then begin to install new mirror up until the big door panel plug.
