So this is where the second filter is! I've been trying to find out where all this water is coming from when it rains and I could hear the a swishing sound when I'm driving! This filter has never been changed since I've had it! Wow bow I know where to go to change these filters because ite stinks in my car from all that water seeping into the carpet and ruining my whole floor! Thanks for sharing this video I really needed to know where this leak may come from and it may have been these filters all along!❤👍🙏

We are happy to help. It is good to change the filter once a year or every 15,000 miles. If there is a leak it would be good to change the filter first and see if you can spot the cause and then take it in to the shop.

In the early 2000's, Cabin Air Filters were not standard in most vehicles, so their placement was definitely not designed with customer convenience in mind.

You should replace your cabin air filter once a year or every 15,000 miles. A dirty cabin air filter filter could be filled with debris like leaves, pollen, and dust. If you live in an area with a lot of smog or around a lot of trees you might want to consider replacing it more often because you'll have more debris that may clog up the filter. Stale odors can also be caused by dirty cabin air filters.

@@filterheads Can also just clean it & save the 20 bucks. Also, I'd get OEM because the pleats on aftermarket dont filter as good. Can go K&N but they maybe more pricey than OEM & you'd need to keep lubricating them with their special oil to keep it in top shape.
