As a follow up, I did this and my passenger side had failed and was very close to being ingested by my turbos. Thank goodness I replaced when I did. I have a 19 and it was at 4,000 miles at the time.

Great Video!! Do it guys!!. I have a 20' spider that was delivered in 19'. My dealer said my car should not be affected but I urged them to replace the inlets with the Pure turbo inlets I bought while they were replacing my cracked exhaust manifold and they found one of the inlets starting coming apart!! I saved myself such a headache!

I just did this. I have a '19 with about 16k miles. The stock inlets were fine, but it was definitely worth doing.

I recommend it as soon as it's out of warranty, because a warranty claim would state aftermarket parts even if they're better
