Huge hint - to get the rotors off there are two threaded holes that you can thread a bolt into to pop the rotor off. Conveniently, the bolt that holds on the brake line bracket is the right size.

Hi , thanks for the video , great job 👏🏼, I have noticed that you are not using the factory recommended tyre size and which is 215/55/17 , I think ur using 225/50/17 I wanted to ask you if it consumes more gas and did you feel any difference driving with these tyres ? Thanks dear again

🤷🏻‍♂️ we will see. I’ve spent lots of money on brakes and rotors before and did not see a difference. So maybe, maybe not. I have experience in using both, so many factors go into it, manufacturing is always changing year to year. Buying, what we think, is high quality is not always so. But I’ll keep an eye on it. 👍🏼

You have to put the bolt that secures the brake pedal to the hub, so it vibrates !!!! all brake discs have a bolt that secures it to the hub.

Miranda Detailing there is a small screw that secures the brake disc to the hub, so that it does not move, I found it curious that your brake disc does not have this screw and the only thing that holds it to the hub is the wheel and the brake pad . I'm sorry if I express myself strangely, I'm from Brazil and I do not know how to write well in English.

  • @MirandaDetailing

False, not all vehicles have a screw that secure rotor to hub. Some do(Honda, Acura, Volvo, Mini, etc.) and they are usually a pain to remove, require an impact screwdriver and even then some require grinding off the head of the screw.

I can't express enough the importance of removing ,cleaning, and relubricating those caliper slide pins. You'll need silicon grease so it doesn't eat the rubber boots that protect them. Those really set the tone for those pads to travel and move back n forth. If those stick. Then the pads will get stuck or lose travel. Wich in turn makes for uneven wear between the two wheels. Particularly if you're in the rust belt.
