This wifi issue in my Asus Tuf A15 is very frustrating. Sometimes there's no wifi issue the whole day, and the very next day, it starts disconnecting from the wifi and even restarting the device or troubleshooting doesn't help then. I have to shut down my laptop and wait for half an hour to work properly.

It's a serious driver issue in windows.. realtek hasn't even updated it's driver since 2017.. and the generic windows driver is just the old realtek driver..

I own a 2023 model Asus Tuf A15. My Realtek8852 wifi card has a problem. It disconnects from wifi from time to time and reconnects to wifi after a few seconds. I think Intel AX 210 is compatible with AMD. I will buy Ax 210.@@lunamiilk2320

7:35 I plugged the the cables into the card and then put the card into its slot. It is much easier to get the cables to 'clip' into their ports that way.

Sometimes because the antenna wires are so stiff or they don't leave enough cable length, you cannot move the card in position without the connectors popping off. The connection type needs to be updated to a more user friendly style. If one of the connectors on the wifi card breaks off in the connector on the antenna wire it's a really tough job to get the little piece out. It can be done......

I have asus tuf f17. Thank you kind person! My NIC fell off in windows 10 with error 10 and 64(?). Drivers did not help, resetting the router to factory settings, changing the router and reinstalling win 10. I opened the laptop and could not find the network card, but you saved me :) I wiped the contacts, the antenna with isopropyl alcohol and everything seems to work

Thanks bro! I just replaced my network card with a Intel, Dual Band Wireless-AX200NGW (around 40 EURO) and it works good for now. I installed the software before I replaced the card and I had no problem. I will come back with updates if I got any issues. (My laptop is a FA506IU)

Hello, regarding the drivers. Do I just download the one driver you installed from the Intel website? What about the bluetooth and other drivers that indicate have something to do with the wireless adapter? Also, will I have to uninstall the realtek drivers? What are the drivers I need to have replaced on my Asus TUF Gaming A15? Should I get rid of all Realtek related drivers? I'm sorry for the many questions, I have zero clue on how to do these.

Hey, I had the same problem with Realtek conflicting with Bluetooth from Intell. I deleted those devices using device manager and installed the Intel Bluetooth Driver and it worked great! I'll try to post the link if KZread will allow.

Thank you very much, I will definitely change my wifi card if I got the problem again. For now I use battery first before plug in because I realized that the problem only occurs while plugged in. But if I use battery first, use laptop for few minutes then plug in, the will be no problem at all. Until now I haven't faced the problem again. I've brought my laptop to service center and they didn't know what's wrong.

I just replaced the WIFI card with the AX210 NGW from Amazon and installed the recommended drivers from a thumb drive and it works like a charm. I have an ASUS TUF 506IU with an AMD RYZEN 7 4800H CPU, 32 Gb Ram, GeForce GTX 1660 6 Gb Graphics card and 2.5 Gb hard drives. Thanks so much for this article, The Intel WIFI works fine with the AMD processor even though it says on Amazon that it requires an Intel CPU, (NOT TRUE).

Thanks for sharing. I'll come back later as a reference to repair my laptop (Actually right now my laptop WiFi not working when I type this comment). It kinda frustating when WiFi stop working, especially I need internet connection for my works. Fortunetly, I have Wireless USB so when my laptop WiFi not work, I can use it. UPDATE 2/19/2023: I manage to fix the problem by just tightening the connector and so far so good. Sorry for Good English :D 😅

I have made the same and worked well during the first 15 minutes , hopefully problem was solved just reorganizing the cables below the wifi adapter, as he is showning in video.

I too have this issue. I have noted that some people have upgraded to the Wi-Fi 6E AX210NGW Wireless WiFi Card, rather than the AX200. I am considering this upgrade path also, but just wanted to check if I should get the version that also includes Bluetooth 5.2 as well, as I'm not 100% sure but I think there may be a non-BT version too. Also, does opening the case and changing the network card void the laptop warranty? Thanks

Opening doesn't void warranty...there are a pair of stickers on top middle over the screws ..if you remover those screws the sticker will come off which will void warranty

I theory it should, I have not tested them yet. But please make sure to not buy the AX201/AX211 series because they only with with Intel chipsets.

I always read in the reviews when I first bought the laptop that the WiFi card was poor quality so I knew I would have to change it one day. This laptop is a machine going 3 years strong

The 8822ce in particular have been plagued by connection issues unrelated to drivers. I recommend Intel since they're the "de-facto" standard and most widely supported cards for laptops.

What's all these issues people are having with the A15, have owned one since September 2020 & had zero issues, no wifi drops, no issues at all except for long reboot times but that was caused by me installing a different integrated gpu driver, rolling back got the fast reboot times back. The wifi connection has been rock solid for me, using an asus dsl-ac88u router.

Okay so I just did it, with an intel ax200, but when I try to open drivers to install them, it says this package cannot be installed on this device. EDIT: Okay, so I just tried downloading the drivers for windows 10 and 11. I’m currently on 11 but it works for both, and this time rather than not working, it did seem to install, but when I restarted the driver would appear in my device manager, nor does it seem to be working EDIT 2: Solved! The card wasnt plugged in right

Mine always suddenly missing the wifi when i type too hard or just shake it a lil bit i am trying to see if there is anything wrong with the wire idk thiu really

I bet most of us are having issues with our Asus TUF F versions. I feel like having nightmares with this Laptop.

Sometimes it's just a random drop but in other times the WiFi disappears from the settings.owh and my model is FA506I😌😂. Note to myself if I'm looking for a new laptop don't buy a laptop that has Realtek WiFi adapter in it.

@@sonn156 You should change it somehow. Or maybe get a dual Band WiFi adapter. In some countries there's no WiFi card available for laptop. Hence, it's more cheaper and easier to buy an external WiFi adapter with Dual Band. Remember buy the Dual Band not the Single Band.I hope this helps because it did for me. I lost my connection once in awhile. There's no WiFi in the settings 😂😔

Followed your tutorial. But exchanged existing card with wiped existing card .2😂 works as new

Another fix that really works is transferring the SSD into the other free SSD slot. This allows the wifi card to cool and increases the signal strength. This is a design flaw in these ASUS laptops. Hopefully this works for all u guys as it did for me.

I bought and installed Intel AX201NGW, after downloading the driver and reinstalling the card multiple times, it didn't work for me. Don't know if it was a faulty card or maybe it wasn't compatible. :(

FYI: Hi guys, after 10 days I lived with this issue Wi-Fi dropouts and read so many way(update or reinstall driver, etc.) on reddit, youtube and others as well. It look like no more solution better than replacing wi-fi card. Consider getting new wi-fi card AX200 ( try to open cover of laptop but didnt have tools haha). 2 days ago, when I started my laptop (ASUS TUF A15 FX506II) without charger(use Battery), use it in 1 hours, it has been Ok, after connecting with charger, it' still Ok. So far, I do the same way like that and wi-fi signal get stability.

@@joshuamanasye FYI: After I did the way I mentioned, it worked but just 1 week, everything back to unstable again. Feel angry again haha. But after 1 week, I dont click to "automatically connect" and since 10s window startup, I connect to wifi, well, it work in stability. From now on, it still work without wifi signal fluctuation. I dont why it happen like that haha

well, when the wifi starts disconnecting itself, I can see some signs like: The wifi panel shows that It found no wifi or something like disconnection. My way to fix this is just to sleep the computer and then turn it on again. Works pretty gud for me :>

That's the one I used in the video and should work.

I'm having this kind of problem right now wherein whenever I move my laptop even a little inch, the wifi will get disconnected and the icon won't show in the taskbar. It's frustrating. I tried opening to check if there are any lose connections but there seems to be no problems at all. Update: Opening the back of my laptop, disconnecting and reconnecting the wifi card helped the problem temporarily. For a month, the wifi would still disconnect but a quick hibernate will fix it. But then today, it wasn't reading my wifi card again, so I had to redo the process I just described. I guess the only permanent solution is to really change my wifi card

I would say, the only reason to have a hard drive is that they often come with way more space than a SSD. I have an Asus TUF 15 Gaming laptop, which came with a 1TB Hard Drive. Since then I've added a 265 GB SSD, and after a year, I decided to factory reset my pc and install windows on my SSD so it runs faster. I know bigger SSD exist, but I feel like until 1TB SSD's are as common as 1TB Hard Drive, it's worth having a big drive like that. In fact, a combo like many is quite perfect; an SSD with enough space for all the programs I'll ever install, and a 1TB drive which isn't as fast but doesn't have to be because you can use it to sorely store files and games.

I replaced the same model that comes with a mediatek 7921 chip to intel ax200. But there seems to be some compatibility issue with the bios due to which i am constantly getting wifi disconnects.

do you really need to download the drivers in advance? can't you just use cable connection after you have installed the card and let winows do the rest?

You can do that as well, or plug in the Ethernet cable. It would be good to download it first if you don't have a USB drive, another computer or an Ethernet cord.
