To remove the starter, I had to loosen a bolt behind the engine that secured the coolant pipe (the pipe that goes to the top bolt on the starter.) This gave me the necessary clearance to pull the starter out. I also started from the bottom… and then ended up doing it from the top like you said haha… it was much easier

My car died out then tried to start it but no good. Charged it then started it and it started scratching kinda had a idea it was the starter ..

What year is the speed3 cause for the 2013 i think they have 2 starters only a day apart

Yes you do have to take the manifold off if the bolt is not comming off bt yeh if the bolt is rusty and yeh i would done the same thing as he did... Great vid as well ima have to take it off to cause that bolt is not comming so i gotta have room

You can get the starter replaced by just taking the throttle body off, and intake / FMIC pipes if they’re in the way. Just did mine last night. Intake manifold can stay on
