Just wanted to thank you for the video it was a life saver.I just did mine myself only needed one side on a 98 sc1 then new spark plug cables now it runs like new thanks man. So satisfying doing work myself. I made the mistake of accidentally yanking the ground wire loose from the negetive battery terminal. Folks watching make sure you don't do that like I did. your car will just die out and glitch out lol

Thank you, helped me with my SL1; took 15 minutes and now its running like a top. Previous coil was arching real bad.

I've changed my ignition control module, egr, and map sensor on a 97 saturn sc1. But I'm still getting map sensor low voltage, egr low voltage, and cam shaft sensor low voltage. Is it possible that the ignition module isn't grounded? And where do I put the di-electric grease? Just on the power coil terminals? Thanks for any help!

It’s very hard to diagnose problems from a distance but yes it could be a ground issue. As far as the dielectric grease I would put that on any electric contact point that you’re working with for this fix. Hope that helps and thanks for the question and taking the time to comment.

Whats the spark plugs wire order? I know the firing order just want to make sure the wires are hooked up right

No it’s a Saturn SL2 with a four-cylinder engine

So you change 1 pack of coil

Yes if I remember correctly I only change the one that was bad. Thanks for the question and taking the time to comment.

With that bad coil was the car hard to start and did it also have smoke come out the exhaust when you started it, and it run rough?

I did not have the smoke issue but it did run rough. and yes it was hard to start sometimes. Hope this helps, thanks for taking the time to comment.

Did you find a solution to your smoke problem. My saturn is not starting unless I push start it and now starting to amoke

@@chunkymomvlogs7220 yes, i replaced the temperature sensor on the motor on the drivers side. That fixed the whole issue. Im nit sure I gave you the correct name of it, but it oporates the coolant temperature and screws out with a electrical wire plugged into it. It didnt take me but a few minutes to do. Drain your coolant first, or it will all leak out when you screw the old one out. I just drained mine into a round cheap new oil pan i got from Dollar Tree. Them used a funnel and put it back in after I replaced the temperature switch. That may be what its called. Blessings...
