This is exactly what I was worried about. Being in the southeast most rivers are shallower and rocky (sharp mostly). I can see carbon for slalom and play boats but creek boats might be to far.

If you are running full on creeks- agree- plastic is ideal! For rivers, 1/2 slice boats, etc. Carbon is such a huge advantage in performance and fun!
EJ how many times have you done that in the middle of the night at various slalom races?
