This is doubly brilliant. 1. He finds a solution. 2. He shows HOW to work out a solution. His observations of faults is exceptional. Volkswagen should hire this guy for their design department.

If you are talking about the white ones on the door panel....with super glue...a lot of super glue... Just make sure the position is good before gluing each of them one by one.

To remove the glass nuts just undo all the bolts holding all the sistem+motor, then you can wigle them down with the glass lose just enogth to undo the nuts. After losing the glass, just tape-it to the dor frame to continue.

@@UltimateDIY So, my situation is a combined one: I had the same issue as you had, but when I've done with the mechanical part, I found that the window switch is also broken and doesn't work correctly, so I need to buy one button. Thank you a lot for the instructions!
