Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Most people who own an R35 GT-R seem to have the same issue, the radio and ac control knobs do not work as they should. When you turn them down they go up, turn them up they go down, turn them one click it jumps five, turn it fifteen clicks and it only goes one.
In this video, I show you how to fix your ac and radio control knobs on your Nissan GTR so that they work as they should.

This happens because the potentiometers age and get a patina on the base part inside, that prevents contact. If yours keeps going bad again and you want to repair permanently then desolder each one with an smd rework station heat gun like an 858D/868D with small nozzle (NOT a normal heat gun), be sure to protect nearby components like LEDS with foil. With each one removed from the board carefully open the potentiometer by lifting the 4 lugs underneath, then lift the frame off. When you separate the potentiometers be careful not to lose the little button press rubber part or bend the little contact springs, this is best done on a light tile floor in case bits fall out. You then gently wipe around the metal base contacts with a tiny bit of 1200 sand paper. Reassemble potentiometer with pliers, check it works then solder each one to the board (from memory the volume one is different to the others). I recommend using solder suck or wick to get solder flat so potentiometer sits flush on board, then hold down whilst adding solder to each leg, don't forget to solder the sides after too. It's quite fiddly and not without risk but it is essentially a free permanent repair that makes it as good as new and doesn't require new potentiometers; providing you have some solder skills and don't f**k it up of course 😊

It's also possible to use new Panasonic EVE-UPCAH516B potentiometers from DigiKey as donors to rebuild your existing ones. You take just the base from the new one and reuse all other components of your existing. Although this should not be necessary if you're careful with previous method.

i actually just removed the knob and used a ear q tip soaked in alcohol and tried to soak the metal knobs as much as possible, it did fix the issue but im not sure how long that fix will last, i did this because my xbox elite controller was having a bad bumper issue and this is actually a fix for a non responsive bumper

Never seen WD40 used on or around circuit boards. Wonder if there are any longer term undesirable side effects. I would think electronic cleaner would be a better choice because it will evaporate and not leave an oily residue. I think WD40 is fish oil based and I'm not an expert, but I don't see any electronics people using fish oil or WD40 on circuit boards. Anybody have any feedback?

That's why I wiped up the board, but the regular WD-40 will also lubricate the knobs. Also I thin WD stand for water displacement, so it should be fairly safe for electronics. I found out after this the WD makes and electronics specific product
