This is extremely misleading and should be re-uploaded with corrections or removed. This is not a repair, this is how to disable a function of the seat belt, a critical life saving device. Dangerously misleading titles; if this hasn’t killed someone, it will.

The pink one is just to control the loose webbing. Take note that this is just for emergency cases. You better buy a new one as soon as possible, it's not expensive though.

Hindi na Po binalik kasi sira yon, basag yon. Sana kung may mabibili na ganyang piesa ay mas mabuti, kaso wala. So sayang din naman kung bibili ng bagong seat belt kung pwede pa naman pagtyagaan in the meantime. Of course kung may budget I recommend buying a new seat belt kasi our safety is at stake. However, sinigurado ko talaga na gumagana ang seat belt if ever there's a sudden application of brake. The technique can be used kung may emergency na lakad at least may seatbelt na magagamit. Yong piesa na yon controls loose webbing.

You said that this is for "emergency cases" but doing this "fix" is the same thing as not having a seatbelt at all...so why even bother with this "fix"? Just don't wear the seatbelt. Also, your description says that this is a "repair". This is not repairing anything. A repair would be fixing the problem yet you haven't fixed anything here. Too bad youtube removed thumbs down votes.

It clearly shows how incredibly little you understand about mechanics and they work. How on earth could you even imagine that this flimsy litte bit of plastic he removed had anything to do with the impact mechanism in a car crash. In a car crash a human can weigh tons! In a car crash of 2 km/h a piece of plastic like this would break off from a baby`s weight of 5 kilo if it was working the way you think. You clearly have no idea..

The actual catch mechanism's teeth are made of metal and it is hidden on the inside faces of the metal brackets and is part of the metal spindle on which the seatbelt resides on. 😊

Bolt was loosened beforehand. Focus is on the temporary repair of the seat belt for emergency cases.

Not a repair! Dangerous to disable seat belt locking mechanism. Misleading video.
