This video helped so much..I have 45yr old door. It is desperately in need of new rollers...Cant find the exact assembly to fit. So here i am. The only kit available to me had a nut and bolt instead of a rivet style. The screw, when installed only had 1 thread showing. And the nut had a giant chamfer inside. Would not go together. The fix...Had to grind the nut close to flat to get rid of the chamfer. And i got maybe 1.5 turns to tighten. I also had to grind the other side down , once assembled, to fit in the door...thanks for the info that got me started.

This is the most important video on KZread...so many questions answered in one video. I'll finally be able to open my door and escape the house!! Thank you!

Buying a new set of rollers is very cheap and avoids all that hassle.

Buying a new roller is also our prefered replacement method. We made this video for customers who have discontinued or hard to find rollers in their door.
