I wish the lighting cable connector looked like this. Now they’re encased in metal and filled with glue making them basically unrepairable. This must be an old iPhone cable from a time before they started doing this?

That's material name is soldering flux, it's helping wire soldering, thanks bro,,,,,

It is not so easy because of it has a chip. May be be the cable will charge but will not connect to PC.

it's simply called "third arm" and is a basic tool for soldering. mostly it comes with a magnifier

@@rjelectro66 I have a question for you if you would help. Basically, the usb part of my charger cable is no longer working so I decided to cut it off and replace with a standard one. When I did this i noticed that a standard usb cable only has a red and black wire, I connected these to the charger but the charger cable isn’t working as well as it once was, it takes over 12-15 hours to fully charge. The other day I noticed that my Xbox controller cable that plugs in with a usb also has red black green and white wires, do you think if I connected them together with the Xbox usb cable it would charge properly again or are their data cables completely different ?
