Don't install other potentiometer. Just make it direct. It will be far better than installing a compatible potentiometer as original one is very hard to find.

Bhai, electronic shop mai repair krwana hai to kitne paise lagega? Aux cable kharab ho gya hai, or sub woofer se futi Hui awaaz a Raha hai? Can we replace subwoofer speakers? How much for speaker replacement and aux replacement approximately?
