My old battery is charging. It can charge up to 13.5 volts. But it has no power, cannot even lit up my spare headlight when i tested it manually...what seems to be the problem..it would be possible can add more power if ill try what you did ?

If a battery cell is internally damaged, it might still provide voltage but with reduced amperage. To fix this, have the cell replaced by battery rebuilders. Alternatively, use a pulsating battery charger, which can remove the sulfate layer from the plates, often restoring proper amperage. If this method fails, it indicates a damaged plate that needs replacement.

Did not see you load test the battery may have volts but not enough amps

I agree and isn't the minimum voltage for a good battery 12.6V???

A good battery typically has 13.6 volts and full amperage. To restore an old battery's amperage, a pulsating battery charger is used in a process that can repair about 90% of batteries. However, if a battery cell is internally damaged, this process won't work, and the plate will need to be replaced.

Epsom salt seems to work much better, amongst a few other cool tricks. But this back ground music is so annoying
