Sir, hats off to you! You just save my old architectural calculator which I was struggling with every time it power on button won’t function. Your ingenious idea of using graphite is astounding. I will try it on my tv remote next hoping the volume down button has the same issue as my calculator and won’t need to press it way hard to get it to work. May I know how long will the graphite on the back of the buttons last? Cheers.

Definitely, this will start working again, coz there is no any electronic components on PCB, be sure there is no rust or conbon on PCB, if it has then clean it properly and insert new battery
