Thanks for posting this! My 15-year old machine also had the F 09 error and based on your example, I took everything apart, just to the point where I pulled the cables off the board. The contacts looked clean, no corrosion, so I just reconnected and tested it. And indeed, the error was gone. The machine is now back at doing its jobs as I type that. Thanks again!

Thank you. Good soldering tools make it a lot easyer. Without them it would be close to impossible.
