My fan has the same problem. I changed the capacitor with the same power but now it spins eratically. It starts slow and then goes very fast and then slows down again almost to a stop but continues to spin slow to fast all over again. I have also changed the fuse. I hear buzzing sound when it slows down. What else is the problem?

either try to spin it a little by hand and check if it tries to rotate, in this case it needs lubrication. If not moving at all, no humming noise coming from its coils, it got an interrupted wire inside and cant be fixed. In some cases, if it got very hot, a small thermistor inside got burnt, it is designed to burn first to prevent fires. Also can't be fixed and motor should be changed.

@@iGobyy Want to know the good news or the bad news? I think cheap motors from China in fans are made to overheat very much on the low speed, and wires inside will burn after 1 or 2 years of use in summer. Even if you replace fan, the design issue exists. To test this scenario, do this: let fan work on low setting for 2 or three hours, turn it off 10min and check if fan cover got quite warm. If it is warm, you can be sure that motor metal inside is so hot, you can't keep a finger on it for 5sec, I think more that 70C. You can also try to smell the fan motor area, if it smells like hot metal or oil, fan was overheating.

Still doesnt work after i replace new capacitor? Any advice what else i can check?

If you look closely at motor in video, it has four long screws holding it together. If yours fell, impact may have slightly moved the motor components. You need to open it, unscrew a little bit each of those 4 screws, pull on the shaft back and forth and try to rotate it, to make it find its aligned position. Once it moves bit easier, tighten little by little each screw, for uniform pressure. Once done and screws are tight, shaft should move much more freely. You can also add some oil on shaft where it enters the motor. If still not moving easily, it may have been bent, but I think that would have required very large shock. You can try. Make sure to not touch capacitor connections, you can die even if its unplugged, as it keeps like 10min high voltage, 220 or 450V. Better wear rubber gloves.

Same capacitor prin kung anu naka indicate na capacitor sa efan mo. Hal.kpg sa stand fan 2.0 uf Kapag sa mid e fan lng nagllro sa 1.2 to .1.5 uf lng...master.

I think you need to get some oil or grease or spray WD40 and open fan and lubricate where the shaft goes into the motor. Note that capacitor can keep high voltage long time, after unplugging fan, turn it on for 2 sec again, to allow it to discharge (think of capacitor as a small battery). Also don't touch the wires, or capacitor contacts.

I am using 2 uF 450v. Motor is overheating. So use 1.2uF only. Otherwise motor will over heat and burn.
