I specialised in refurbishment of cylinder heads , there are one or two minor things that I would have done differently, but on the whole they did a good job ,

Just jumble all the pushrods together so upon rebuild they all wear needlessly. Don't bother looking for the missing collets..the oil pump gears will find them. That piston that was smashing the valve into the head will be fine. That engine oil with all the damaged debris in it will do another 50K miles.

I used to see these jingle trucks come over the pass from Peshswar Pakistan to Khowst Afghanistan, drive up the river bed before they got to rapids and rocks then leave the river and drive over the pass to Gardez. Unless you looked real close, you couldn't tell the new trucks from the ancient ones! FOB SALERNO 2010-11.

That work certainly sucks. What they only did is to replace the broken valve, and clean the cylinder head, they didn´t even resurface it. At least they installed a brand new head gasket

Как так то клапан весь в цылиндре а головку даже не побило у меня кусочек направляющей откололся итог больше делов наделал а тут прям чудо какое-то

He should loosen the head bolts slightly at each end and work towards the centre bolts to avoid bending the head.

I think it is quite fantastic (or tragic) that they are able to keep this pile of junk on the roads. It must have been around 30 years ago i saw a Bedford like this where i live. Long gone now.

Australia here. We used to have a lot of these Bedfords running around in the 60's-70's and eighties but now they are all gone. My question is, were these Bedfords imported from England or were they a locally produced truck?
