Thank you for watching!
Loved your videos about Dubai. I would love to see your company in Dubai this year 😊
thank you for your video is super helpful and also that you mentioned that some people could not be professional as we used to have in other countries.

Glad you found it helpful! I think my expectations for the level of service were too high lol
Hi Suzu san. Would you kindly share which agent you used, if you don’t mind? Like wise we are getting unprofessional ones and super annoyed… - thanks for sharing very well organised videos, さすが日本人て感じ😆! Definitely valuable.

Our place was listed by an agency called Sygma Real Estate! We've worked with two diff agents there (by coincidence) and both experiences have been good. 嬉しいコメントありがとうございます :)
Airbnb places for the time being to help you get onto your feet and save a little for this cheque system.

Hi Suzu! with your experience in Apartment Hunting, would you mind recommending Agencies that you (Personally) Found reliable and trust worthy?

Hi, we went through an agency called Sygma Real Estate (the property we were interested in was just listed by them) and have had no particular problems. We've also used BetterHomes for a short-term rental and no issues with them either!
Hi, is there room for negotiating the advertised rental price? I lived in Tokyo for many years and know that prices are practically fixed, but I lived in other countries where negotiating a 10-20% discount was common.

In general, yes but it seems like people try to negotiate number of cheques as opposed to the actual rent price, e.g. pay a little more annual rent total to split it into 4 cheques
Hi Suzu! I am moving to Dubai in two weeks and I am PANICKED about paying a one or two cheque rent lol. How do people do it? Is 12 cheques possible? I am genuinely scared for my life haha

Hi Yasmina! Yeah the rent situation requires a lot of savings and will be major part of your initial moving costs😭💸 The most number of cheques that I saw during my search was 4 and even that was rare. A real estate agent may be able to help you find a 12 cheque place, although the options are probably limited and usually you end up paying more rent as the number of cheques increases😖There are also a lot of monthly rentals so you could technically book it for a few months and then keep extending but I don't think that's ideal 💦
What if you pay cash I guess cheques won’t be necessary?

I think it’s better to pay check so that you have proof and the bank/authorities are able to track the money.
How long does it take for the Emirates ID on average?

I believe it’s meant to take around 4-6 weeks on average from the health check. Ours took exactly 4 weeks!

@@suzukuri Thanks. So do you think 1.5 months hotel stay would be sufficient? Or should I just book 2 months?
@suzukuri
Жыл бұрын
@@abdullahdeshmukh99 We did a 1.5 months hotel stay and it worked out, but felt rushed as we only had about a week to find an apartment and get all of the paperwork and utilities sorted. If you have the means to then I would say just book 2 months so you have enough time/wiggle room after receiving your EID and opening a bank account to get everything sorted. Here's a video of our process of getting our EID! --> kzread.info/dash/bejne/m6JnzMSCqtbMqrQ.html

@@suzukuri thanks again. I'll try for 2 months. I actually skipped that video since it wasn't in English, but I'll try to watch it again with subtitles since you're recommending it. Your content is definitely valuable. Thanks for posting.
