Yeah - I hate them being called hackers. That implies some skill. It’s more like someone walked through your front door. No lock picking required...

It was fun to block you! And for those reading, Dane was able to get back into the same Zoom room after I restarted the meeting... I'd never banish Dane from my Zoom.

Hi There Brighten West ! I have begun watching a few of your videos and I really like your energy and your detail I have a question from another video from a while ago, but I thought you might see it quicker on this recent video.. I am new to KZread ! Question on your sharing slides (keynote with video ) you recommended screenflow. I am in between screenflow and camtasia? I have read some comparisons. I like snagit and am going to purchase that and camtasia offered a bundle. I would love to hear your opinion.. Thanks !!

Thanks Meaghan! Screenflow and Camtasia are quite similar. Screenflow is Mac only, whereas Camtasia works on Mac and PC. Camtasia is about 2X the cost of Screenflow, so for Mac users, I recommend Screenflow. I haven't used Snagit, so I can't comment on that. Both Screenflow and Camtasia seem to be a good mix of ease of use and power. Other software I've found to be too complicated for new users or too simplified to get good results. Both of these are in the middle. Camtasia has a few extra features like interactivity, but those don't work on KZread. The thing I like best about Camtasia is the ability to layer filters. For instance if you want to zoom in on a part of your screen and blur a subset of that area, Camtasia can do that, but Screenflow can't. That's not super common, but I run into it in Screenflow once in a while. I hope that helps!

Screen flow seems a little easier, but the bundle package with camtasia was tempting along with the cool snag it tool. Check out snag it , it has a free trial for two weeks.. Thank you for making this video. It was awesome to see Dane in there being a goof. In 4 years I have never had anyone crash one of my Zoom meetings. That is very surprising to me.

I've been using Zoom for years too, and I've never had anyone crash it until yesterday. And my wife had just read me a headline about Zoom bombing about 2 hours before I got Zoom bombed. I think it's a combination of Zoom going up in popularity and people being bored because they are out of work and stuck at home.

Thank you for the video. My friends and I attend sobriety meetings. today some guy jumped in and yelled a bunch of racist and sexist comments on video and in chat. Great idea to have a co host remove the trash.

It doesn't work so well anymore now that Zoom defaults to having a waiting room. I do find a lot of people in my waiting room though... so they are still trying...
