After I followed these films and removeg everything, I realized, that the grille may be removed without removing the other mentioned parts except the wiper arms. You can see at 4:53 that the grille can be taken out from the other plastic part....

Hi Adrian, Very useful video! My name is Simeon, and this was done to me at the service. :( Now, when the car is moving, from time to time, there is a very loud unpleasant screeching sound. Sounds like metal to glass or metal to metal. It can be heard both inside and outside. (I was showing myself through the window in motion :)) Have you had such a case? Hello. I can't figure out what that noise would be from, but maybe it would be good to open it and see what it is about. You remove the wiper arms, remove the plastic from the base of the windshield and then put the wiper arms back and do a test to see where the noise is coming from. I hope you solve it. However, check that there is no noise even from the wipers on the windshield. Is the noise also heard when you use the wipers and it's raining?

@@AdrianDragan I think silicone would be better,kinda tried to do it one time,but with double sided tape- it was too thick,the fitings on the plastic parts didnt match etc. Maybe thinner tape? Dont know...

I think that if want to remove the grid, that silicone will stick too hard, while the double-sided tape is easier to remove. I'm thinking of a better way...

Where can you find suitable replacement for the soundproofing? The original seems to have an irregular '3d'-shape. Looking forward to watching a video about replacing the soundproofing if you make one.

Replacing the grille needs thinking, understanding of the connections, position it correctly AND then push... The replacing rubber ends also need precision.

@@AdrianDragan me too have the same problem on 308. One of solution is to put silicone between windshield and plastic grille. There is special type silicon for that purpose, named "silicon for windshield" and it is very soft and usually black colour.

Does this cause water to leak into the driver or passenger footwell? I’m having water in the drivers side and I’m thinking of checking the drain holes. Some other people say it can be the window seal but I’m not sure, any ideas?

@@skenzo9 hello. Has your windshield ever been changed? If so, it may not seal well. Also check the coolant level, you may have a leak in the heating radiator.

my 408 is getting water on the chassis number. Glass has already been exchanged, does anyone know where it infiltrates? thanks

Salutare! Parbrizul meu este zgariat pentru ca are 14 ani, dar stergatoarele nu l-au zgariat in mod evident. Este un mic truc care poti sa-l aplici, si anume sa verifici ca bratul impreuna cu stergatorul sa pice perpendicular pe parbriz.

I got serious leaks through the plastics, all the water was going under the platic and onto the soundproofing. I managed it with waterproof tape and it's ok for now, but that is not permanent solution. Now only water leak is from passenger side grill but it's nothing compared to what it was. Very stupid design for that part. It can ruin everything 😢

that may be from those air filters under tail lights. I have that too, too many leaks for one car... Did you maybe seal your windshield plastic somehow?

Ciao, Antonio. Penso che tu possa trovarlo su ebay o in un negozio di ricambi per auto, il codice che si adatta alla mia auto (Peugeot 308 anno 2008) è: 7481NY. Prima di acquistare controlla se questo codice è compatibile con la tua auto.

Stessa cosa io. Il problema è che non lo trovi a meno di 100/110 euro, che mi sembra un prezzo esagerato (direi un furto). Il codice del ricambio originale è 7481ny (la mia è una 308 1.6 hdi del 2009). Sembra esista solo il ricambio originale, purtroppo. Almeno io non sono riuscito a trovare un ricambio equivalente.

Salut. Caloriferul este destul de usor accesibil, nu este necesar sa demontati bordul. Acesta poate fi accesat pe langa pedala de acceleratie, trebuie demontat panoul de plastic care pleaca pe sub bord de la pedala de acceleratie spre schimbatorul de viteze. Cam in doua saptamani voi face un tutorial pe acest subiect.
