Idiot

I debadged my truck today a good smaller flat head behind lettering works faster. Keep pressure as you hear pops right off.

That turned out well, looking to do mine here soon

I plasti-dipped my rear ones dark grey to match my interior but my sides are looking rough. May do this! Looks so good!

Can you put new badges over the old black glue?

What’s your opinion on debadging? I’m caught in between wanting to do it and leaving them on lol

Jacob Keevert I love not having dirt trapped in between letters making it easier to maintain. That’s the biggest benefit imo. Also I like the fact on a new truck all the paint will fade/age the same if you keep for a long time.

U don't even need to heat it up ,just use a a fishing line , simple...no need for a gun

When I remove my emblems one of them had super glue, you think the eraser might help remove it? I tried almost everything

Ah man that's a bummer. The eraser might help. Honestly I have never ran into that before. May help to warm it up a little then try a light eraser wheel possibly.

I generally use a 3m double sided tape.

Generally with those vinyl decals I will warm them up a little with the heat gun and try to remove as much as possible with my hands. If that doesn't work or it comes off in a million pieces ill use the 3m Eraser Wheel followed with the same steps as the debadge. On new trucks they generally just come right off if left to sit in the sun for a couple hours.

Customer wanted them removed. Makes it easier to clean around is what I like the most about no emblems.

You know, pulling that adhesive in the right direction causes it to release very easily. Then you don't have to hit the paint with an eraser wheel.

haha yeah I know! Just go slow and low pressure. I guess you could burn the paint if you generate too much heat.
