In the trade we used liquid air freshener in with the chemical on the wet vac, we get 'em in 5 Litres, it really freshens the interior of a bad smelling vehicle. On real bad ones we use Neutradol air freshener after it's all dry, DON'T use any cheaper aftermarket brands,spend that bit more on the stuff that really works! I used it myself, my car is in the UK & it was used as a workhorse, the rear seat was removed & cleaned underneath (Hidden smells will come back) i sprayed with the boot carpet raised & propped it up with a stick so it'll go everywhere. I sprayed it using a quarter of the can with the Neutradol,then ran the engine for 5 mins with the heater control on recirculate mode,fan on No..2 close all doors & close all windows,engine off, let it sit over nite with doors & windows shut. Repeat the process again next day & use another quarter can this time but air it 6hrs later. It will have a strong distinctive smell. Now after airing i used a good quality,well know air freshener & sprayed the inside a little, not much (no engine running) with doors & windows closed over nite. The roof lining needs cleaning to remember on smelly cars,don't forget that! It still smells awesome 2yrs later with no nasty farm yard stench.

Damn, that's a lot of work but worth it if you're looking to keep your car for a while. I've been watching videos on how to clean the carpet on my 07 Yukon. Sweet Car Projects always have good videos. I've already removed all the seats except the front. Hoping to get it done this weekend. Thanks

Most shop vacs have more suction to help pull out the moisture than many of the extractors. You can even buy the clear extractor heads for that shop vac too!

LOL, we were just talking about the weather forecast and it's suppose to be 102 on Wednesday and my wife says "today and tomorrow it's only suppose to be in the mid to upper 90's" LOL like that's somehow cool :) We keep an eye on those MI temps too, and they have had some cool nights, our nights haven't been below 80 degrees for 2 months now LOL. Hi Sweet PC. Finally got around to using you 99 concoction. Used the ingredients and ratio noted in video. What I have cleaned looks good. The issue I have is with all the bubbles. We have softwater up here in Vancouver. Will reducing the Dawn portion from 6 to 3 oz still offer a good cleaning Solution?

Oh so i see you don't recommend the 2 ounces of oxi clean max anymore BUT i see whete you say add 6 ounces if extremely dirty lol I just bought new recliners Mike and they look like leather but are a weird cloth what can i clean them with occasionally and use to protect them?
