will the door open if dead battery and you just pull the handle with a wire ? or can i reach the bonnet handle ? or is there a way to charge the battery via indicator? i have lost the master key i got the fob im stuck at the moment

You can charge the battery via the tow bar electrics - if you have a tow bar

hey mate, wondering about the speaker thats in the door card, i see there is one actually attached to it. The speaker upgrades you have on your website don't include that one? Any help would be great thanks!!!!!

This could be handy. One of our guys has a RR Sport that dumps a large puddle of water on his feet when he opens the front passenger door so we're going to whip the door card off and take a look for him.

@@louiscarter12345 The small screw that goes up vertically is 4.2x19mm screw PN LR007312 The larger screws near the handle are 4.2x 25mm PN LR046742

I also have a RRS and just noticed that my power soft lock mechanism on the passenger front isn’t working. I hear the latching mechanism trying to do something but it’s not closing the door like it should. Any thoughts on where this might take place with the door?

Hi - not had a lot to do with the soft close - we have it on the L405 but not on the sport that i can tell !

Be aware that when removing the door card the door handle cable can get caught when trying to remove and the catch part has a little lug that can break off!

Very useful. I need to get mine off because the memory seat buttons are not working. They must connect to the car through that grey connector but where is the seat control unit, under the seat?

Good question - the memory function is also controlling the mirrors... from the wiring diagram it would appear to be in the drivers seat.

The memory function works for the drivers seat, not at all for the passenger seat. From the diagnostics, it looks like there are sparate control units for each, presumably under each seat. The mirrors surely only depend on the drivers seat.
