Smart advice, genuinely helpful and seems to be working for me right now - I’m half way through removal now. The bit in your video where it starts cracking up and we can hear it too totally makes my stomach churn with anxiety though. I can’t get past thinking it’s the screen itself cracking lol! Update: all finished and it worked perfectly! Really makes me panic when there’s any cracking but it’s a good method of safe removal so all that’s required is pushing through to the end. I didn’t have any marks on my screen at all - I think the lint-free cloth wrap helped ensure that. Thanks very much for sharing this advice. Wishing you all the best for your channel!

*It probably works with that yeah. I actually had an idea. There's a whole pad of capsules in front of me (10pcs capsule) So It gave me idea to give it a try since the edge is probably hard and sharp enough and so I tried and i was like wowwww!! It worked omg. And it's actually a lot easier! I've been struggling to remove this sucker for awhile now. I was able to remove the whole stuck tempered glass on my phone. Great! I'm glad that I discovered this. 💯🔥*

Thank you Maris that is brilliant :) .. we have a bunch of those microfiber cleaning cloths our optometrist gives us to clean our glasses, I will wrap that around a credit card ... but that's a great idea, the cloth stops the phone screen from being scratched.. I'm glad you made and posted this video for us ! :)

Don't peel Tempered glass! Slide something thin and nonabrasive under the glass to slowly break the seal. Try using two business card on either side of the screen to break the seal evenly and thoroughly then lift protector from screen. Just think, glass won't bend, unless you break it.

Saaaaame. The cracks are preventing me from typing properly. Barely use my phone bc when I type I stab my fingers on the glass.

I have an old phone with tempered glass not broken, but since it's more than 5years now, ppl are saying that i should replace it before it sticks to my screen while removing it

Im thinking rubbing alcohol to break up the adhesive, i use finger nail polish remover 'acetone' for super glue, paint, ink, and what have you on most hard surfaces if alcohol wont cut it, but might be bad idea on the screen. I probably try hair dryer from about 2- 3 foot away and very gradually warm it up and pry with that card and fabric trick

What to do if there's absolutely no gap that the edges are fully cracked. I tried using a toothpick / paper , but it won't slide in . Not even water goes in.

Try to see if you can see the film under the glass. In my video you can see that the glass is attached to a film. Then it is easy to put the credit card under the film. Some screen protector are very thin and is harder to take out but just be patient. You do not want to ruin your phone.

Use a sturdy piece of plastic or paper, slide it underneath repeatedly but carefully. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner, this piece of glass has been on my screen since a month ago LMBBOOODKSKS 😂❤

I wrapped mine with a thin cloth. My screen did not have any scratches as shown in the video.

mines basically apart of the phone it’s been on for year bu i managed to get about 1 quarter off with a chisel😂

I ruined my screen today removing my old screen protector lol. It just kept breaking and wouldn’t peel and left a ton of residue I had to scrub off

There’s no plastic that held the glass part of the screen protector? Most screen protectors has a thin plastic film underneath the glass.

@@skillfullyyoursmaris4425 maybe I had it on too long but it wouldn’t peel it just broke off in pieces and left glass and a layer of residue that wouldn’t even come off well with acetone. My poor screen is one big scratch now😂

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the glass separated from the plastic film and when you tried to remove it, only the glass peeled and left the plastic film on your screen.

That was cringe worthy. Has to be an easier way, like starting at the cracked part with a firm business card corner and run it around the edges to break the seal.
