I just removed my cracked protector. I used my driver license. Glue isn't like crazy glue like I thought. Using a thinner plastic would be better. It leaves a thin residue of glue. I used a napkin with a bit of water and dish soap,on napkin. Nail polish remover would be best ,but couldn't find some at home.

I used a needle too (eye end, not point, of an embroidery needle) because it was nearest at hand and I managed not to scratch my LG G4. I'm so glad it turned out it was just the screen protector that was cracked rather than the actual screen. I didn't know it was glass.

i didn't have a toothpick so I used a needle and it worked well after a bit of picking and pushing. then i removed the rest of it with a credit card. really needed to remove it because it had a huge crack in it and my phone got wet and water got through the crack in between my phone and the glass protector and made a big bubble

*Thank you for sharing.* Just removed my 1st new tempered glass screen protector (wrong size) from my brand new phone then installed my 2nd new tempered glass (right size, different store).

Removing it by knife will also work and it can remove the glass very smoothly and fastly.

credit card worked like butter. got the chipped corner and pushed the card under the glass and it lifted free

Thanks for sharing. I did it! I use hair dryer to warm/loosen the edges of the screen protector placed 1 foot away for a minute, then slowly insert a plastic tooth pick and later a card until the protector comes out.

Start with something thinner than a credit card like a piece of that plastic they seal wrap everything now days shove it under and just go around the screen then you will be able to slip in your credit card ;) BTW anyone else hate those stupid thick pieces of crap tempered glass, it's like you're trying to make it work with a pair of gloves on, very frustrating.
