What you've done here is electrolysis. Using electricity to split water atoms into their respective hydrogen and oxygen atoms. You may be cleaning the rust off your wrench, but you're also creating hydrogen fuel. This is the basis for using hydrogen to power our grid and vehicles.

Hello James! How are you? In the video I used a 19V notebook charge power, but you can use even a 1.5V battery. The more voltage and the more salt, the more efficient it will be. However, much salt will be harmful to source or battery. The more salt, the more energy consumption. Understand that it is dangerous to put your hands in the water, ok? If it is your first experience with it, start with a 1.5V battery. Use a glass of water and a small spoon of salt. Try to unravel a nail. It will take a while, but it will be a good experience. I usually bathe the keys in acetic or citric acid, and then clean them with a wire disc - it's much better this way, it shines like new

Se for fazer com a fonte do celular, use apenas uma colher de chá de sal para cada litro de água, para não forçar demais e sobreaquecer a fonte. Zdravo! U videu sam koristio puno soli. To uzrokuje povećanje potrošnje energije. Zbog toga se izvor zagrijava. Ako možete čekati, dodajte malu količinu soli. Radovi će biti gotovi za više vremena, ali se fontana neće zagrijati. Hvala na gledanju i ostavljanju komentara!

Washing soda (not baking soda) works well too; gives the metal a patina look.

Hello Jusku! How are you? Friend, to give the result shown in the video, you have to use a spoonful of salt for every 250 ml of water. The voltage used must be at least 12 V. The more salt and more voltage (do not exceed 19V), the faster the magic will happen. You can also use 3V voltage, but the result will be slower. Thanks for watching!

Hi. Nice idea. I would like to try this, but I will keep it locked away from my kids. I have used vinegar with a bucket of rusted nails and let it sit for a full day. It worked great. I want to discover something to put on the nails after so no new rust will start again.

Using vinegar is a good idea as it has acetic acid. However, the process takes longer. You can use the same problem shown in the video to transport good material for the nails - example: copper. However it will be expensive. Opportunately I will show this process here on the Channel. Thanks!

La technique ne présente aucun risque, mon ami. La tension utilisée est trop faible (DC). Même si vous touchez l'eau (ce qui serait imprudent), le plus qui se produira est un petit choc. Si vous avez peur de faire cette procédure, vous pouvez utiliser une tension encore plus faible (3 V), en utilisant 2 piles communes. Merci de regarder la vidéo.

اولا ده إسمه طلاء كهربي مش إزالة صدأ و بعدين كان الأسهل من ده كله غسل المفتاح بالجاز و الفرشة و تنشيفه كان هيرجع جديد . ثم ال220 فولت في الماء بهذه الطريقة من المعروف انه كان هيتسبب في تيار قِصَر و المعروف بالقفلة . فيديو غير مقنع بالقدر الكافي
