Can you replace the 2014 infotainment system with a newer one with carplay?

How much is it tp repair the radio? I have black screen it runs on sometimes but doesnt last long and the back up camera still works.

I just bought a repair service on eBay..I have to send them my radio which is why I’m watching this video ..the piece I paid is $850..Lexus dealership couldn’t tell me what the problem was and quoted $3k! Hell no.

No, you need to fix the issue first before upgrading.

If the radio is good then the problem is in the wiring. You need to have your radio checked out first.

@@schwifty9038 Usually main board goes bad. If you can fix a personal computer main board, you might be able to fix it. But if the board get damaged then you would need to replace the whole unit.

My radio turns on, but no sound. Amplifier was checked and it is good. The one thing I noticed is that if switch it to radio mode, it gets stuck and doesn’t do anything anymore. When the sound went bad, the radio kept rebooting? Is It the radio? I just don’t want to go through the effort of taking it out if it doesn’t sound like it is the radio. Thank you for your time!

@@jasonsantos2265 I had to buy a used one. And then I installed it. They are about $400 + $80 for shipping on EBay. They come from somewhere in Emirates, so make sure to order the right one, otherwise if you have to send it back it will be expensive. If you need help just send me a message. I don’t mind helping, as it was a pain for me to figure everything out on my own.

@@merlinrivera8790 yes, it worked for me. There are two things that could be the potential issues. The amplifier located on the trunk and the radio. I had my amplifier tested and it was good. So I ordered the radio and replaced it myself and it worked!

Have you come across a problem in 2014 is 350 mark levison radio? When I start the car the radio/navigation doesn’t always turn on. Sometimes it does while driving, other times it doesn’t. This keeps my Bluetooth from working as well and screen is just blank. Service report says all wires working normally.
