Putting the panels back on you made look so easy. But for some reason on my digital PS5, the side where the extra ssd goes was a pain in the butt to put back on.

I had a LOT of trouble getting the top faceplate back on. I didn’t really know what I was doing but I had to push it to the right VERY hard before it clicked into place.

Thanks for the tutorial, worked fine. Had a bit of trouble putting the plates back on. Didn’t work for me to just push down. Kinda had to slam the bottom to click them back in place. Maybe because i have the digital version. Great vid nonetheless.

wish i would have seen this and other videos - i put the cosmic red plates on last night but the white plates really scratched the inside of mine. seems like a common issue i’m seeing.

If it helps when the hooks are lined up put your hand on top of the ps5 and push the plate towards the top with your other hand

We have found several videos just like your's that just said to lift the corner and push. It's easy once you know how much you should lift the corner, but we had no idea, it wasn't working and we were terrified that we would break it. I would recommend to next time show a view from the top where you show that you should lift the corner until you see 2 plugs come out of their holes and then push. Only once we understood the principle were we confident to get the cover off.

I’ve did everything you did, pulled alot of force. It won’t come off

Okay so I really struggled putting it back on, but I got it after almost an hour…you need to place the pallet on top of the ps5 and as you slide it in and you feel the hooks are in place you then start to put the pressure of your body wight on to it as you push against the pallet!!! You need to put the pressure on as you start to slide it in..don’t put it into place then push do it as you push into place!!! I hope this helps someone else 😅

@@madecity the number in in system info is 077. If it's not the overall 77th PS5 to be made. It's the 77th in a particular batch. Well the point is they left too much ribbon on a connector and that's what makes the fan loud.
