So I was 100% sure this would not work. we were cleaning out our office and found the dog might have had a few incidents in the room we were not aware of. These spots would had to be a few years old because our baby had passed a while back. I did as she said and used very hot water (Not boiling just max the tap would give) and a tablespoon of the soap. my exact mix was 3 cups of hot water to one full TBSP of Dawn. I used the version called Platinum. I do not own a deep vac so I just used my shop vac on the wet setup. And peeps the stains were 100% gone. Once I let air dry I vacuumed as normal. My carpet was a grey mix med shag with no loop. the suds were white and I did not see any of the blue color that Dawn appears in the bottle. The only difference to her method for me was, I used a small nylon scrub brush just because of the shag. exact steps for me were, pour a 1/4 cup of solution on the spot, scrub with brush just until a white foam begins, blot over and over with towel, shop vac with blade attachment back in forth to get any left over solution out and also stands the carpet up nicely, let air dry of place fan on the area for a few hours and vacuum as normal, Thanks Pen's you video really worked.

Ella Thanks for questions. Yes! You can use paper towels but not going to absorb liquid well like actual towels ( try to make sure that carpet dry well to preventing odor from carpet). You can use seventh generation dish soap.

What about an old stain? My German Shepherd soiled herself on my Jeep’s backseat and I tried to clean it initially but at the time nothing worked. I even had my Jeep detailed last month and they couldn’t get the stain out (I didn’t explain what it was). Just wondering if your suggestion would still work?

Krysta Dick other tip. Used hydrogen peroxide mixing with water ( half of water and half of hydrogen peroxide) spray to stained areas and use deep clean vacuum and dry it well.

Thanks for questions. Use white vinegar and water 50/50( half and half makes it to spray then spray on effected areas leave it for 15-30 minutes and use deep clean vacuum liquid out and continue with hot water mixing with liquid soap makes it to spray ( follows from this video) then use deep clean vacuum. To make sure the carpet dry well to prevented Odor come back. If you have any questions please let me know.

Sorry Bailey! That made it not clear to you. Mixing vinegar with water together (pure in spray bottle). When you’re applying on stain let’s stay 15-30 minutes then use deep clean vacuum to take liquid out from the carpet ( if you’re do not have deep clean vacuum also you can absorbing liquids from the carpet by using clean clothes) Then follows by this tip on this video. Hope this good explained and work for you. Let me know if you still have more questions.

Sorry to reply you late just finished working on my regular job. 1. I’m not 100% guaranteed going to work perfect but from my experienced it’s works to eliminate Odor and stains from the carpet. 2. When you’re spraying vinegar mixed with water on carpet and you need to clean solution out by deep clean vacuum or by clean dry clothes. 3. Mixing hot water( be careful with hot water) with liquid dish soap So follows in this video and to make sure the carpet dry well to keeps Odor away. Yes! Make sure after finishing deep clean vacuum and dry your mattress very well to prevent Odor.

Never dish soap you could also damage the fibers and lock in stains vin water extract exact if you ever get it professionally cleaned it well foam up looks like a jute rug those can be a nightmare to clean

Thanks Mxngo! Doggy Please hold it little longer. I told my dog go out pee and poop when you come back then you'll get big treats! So he'll go out and pretending what he's suppose to do and run back to the house and he's keep doing this all day Long! ( I learned my lesson not to train him like this. If I do not give him treat and he is complaining and very mad and he's own the house too) HaHaHa!! We're love our pets can have anything they wanted.

Yes! I’m not sure when you’re spraying solution to the mattress able to go deep enough. Try it. When you’re finished cleaning try to take mattress out to the sun for 24 hours to dry and eliminating the Odor or use hair blow dryer.

Yes! If you made the carpet dry well. Also you can use baking soda mixing with vinegar to eliminate odor ( mixed vinegar 1 cup , water 1/2 cup and 2 tbsp of baking soda applying on affected areas and leaves for 10-15 minutes then use deep clean vacuum out and to make sure the carpet dry well too. Aww! Doggy! Try to take dog to pee late before bed time or do not let them drink water after 6.00 pm to prevented pee. Use this tip to clean the bed( want to make sure bed dry very well to prevent Odor). Hope this works out for you.

This will not be as effective as you think. You NEED an enzymatic cleaner to remove the urine smell that lingers. You may not smell it but people who come to the home will, if they get close enough. Also, she is cleaning a rug on hardwood floors and NEVER looked underneath to be sure to soak up the extra water and let the hardwood dry out fully. This whole method is a terrible job. It’s not cleaning the rug properly and it’s potentially damaging the hardwood below it. 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Agreed flush flush extract but if you have let it go for ever sub floor pad you we'll have bigger problems

Pet urine soaks down to the pad and no home steam cleaner is going to extract down to the pad, sorry. It should be professionally removed.
