Hi! I just cleaned up one of the nastiest messes I’ve ever seen a dog make! My old girl had the first accident of her life and boy, it was MAJOR! My carpet is cream and light grey and white so I was quite worried that it would stain horribly but after following your advice, I am happy to report that my carpet cleaning experience was a huge success! Boiling hot water and white cotton towels were a winning combination and I am extremely pleased with the results. Tomorrow my husband is going to shampoo the entire rug so the dirty areas will look as good as what I just finished cleaning! Thank you for sharing this great technique.

The dog I'm pet sitting, I took her out twice this morning and saw she pooped. So I took a nap. While napping, I was oblivious that she was having diarrhea all up my carpet machine cleaned stairs and even the newly painted walls! So I needed this. Thank you!

My carpet doesn’t lift off the floor 😢. First my dog did diarrhea in my car then diarrhea on my carpet at home. What a lovely time cleaning it up and gagging nearly throwing up😅.

Thank you so much. My cat decided to eat a long strand of hair and leave a trail of poo all through my living room. I was dreading the clean-up but this info saved me alot of time and frustration.

my concern is, by continuously pouring water on carpet, you’re risking excess moisture to seep into the carpet/floor joists -leading to the possibility of mold both on the carpet and below on the floor joists

There are special vacuums for that. They work on wet carpets.

This works wonders. My mom and I were trying to get dog poop out of the rug, and we didn’t have a clue on how to get it out without rubbing it into the rug.

You're cleaning rugs not carpet. Problem: can't raise wall-to-wall carpet to let it dry.

Dear Ma'am - I can't thank you enough for your video and advice. I have a 15 year old Boston Terrier mix (He's a purebred American Wondermutt). We've been best of buddies since I got him when he was 8 weeks old. I have been treating him for diabetes, Cushings, and Thyroid condition. Unfortunately, he's not as fast as he used to be in terms of getting out of the house when he has to go. My wife and I recently moved and bought a beautiful Thomasville rug for our bedroom. Well, earlier this evening, I brought him upstairs to our bedroom and he started to pace. Sure enough, new house, new surroundings, he had to go and it landed on our new rug. I didn't see it, stepped in it, and ground it into the rug. I followed your advice to the letter. Guess what, your advice worked perfectly. I figured the rug was ruined or I'd have to call out the "chemical cleaning guy" to try and salvage the rug. Poop is gone, stain looks gone, and sometime tomorrow I'll check and see if I need to go to the neutralizing agent. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

Can someone tell me. So my sister has a dog and they rarely take him out. Recently we moved into a new appsrent and near the first day he went in my, my niece and nephews room and pooped. Come a week later I'm literally in the room this time and he goes to circle in the corner and yell out "No, out!" And try to lead him out but he ignored me and turns to another spot in the room and starts pooping than and there. Can someone tell me why my sisters dog is randomly popping in my room and even when I tell him no he continues to ignore me and not get out and just avoids me and than poops. If it's her dog why isn't he pooping in their room and instead keeps coming to mine? (Note the dog sleeps in the living room) This is seriously one reason I hate dogs. This dog is not even mine and I'm becoming stressed by them. Because thru are ruining my carpet

The dog respects it’s master and is going outside of their territory to poop. (Your Room) all he cares about is that he is going out to no mans land, not in his personal space… you are going to have to make the dog respect you, more than just some words that mean little to a dog. In a dogs world, if a dog comes on it’s territory and try’s to mark there, the dog will confront him with a growl and tackle him to the ground with his teeth to his throat, and make him respect his (or your) territory. You just have to be physical, powerful and demand respect. He will learn the consequences of coming on to your territory and shitting. You can’t be a push over using soft human words. Dogs aren’t wired that way and don’t respect or understand it.

I was just about to throw my new shag rug away when I saw this. Thank you for posting. I also shampooed my rug after doing these things. But if I could humbly suggest,with all due respect, please please for the love of all that is holy and sanitary, wear gloves! All kinds of germs, disease, etc, in any poop.

Thieves spray would be a great addition to this.

Yeah, that would be all good and fine, but I can’t even get around it from gagging so much! Now, if you can help me with that, so that I can even get to the poop to clean it, that would be really helpful! Yes, I put on masks. Maybe I should put on something heavier what a nightmare!
