The easy way to remove a steerer and bearing.To refit just press it back in.
Step 1: Grab the closest haas
NEVER use your machinists vice as a press!
Why is that? Gevadi vices can generate large forces with no problems
As long as the clamping force is evenly distributed, i.e. centred in the vice, not off to a side, a vice makes a great press.
