I did, I restarted and it is still there. I know it is an Android flaw and that your advice usually works--in fact, mine shows two. And yes, I tried togging it back and forth and restarting and all combinations.

I put tape over the top of my screen so I don't see the time when I'm at work.

That didn't work. I don't have that option on my phone.
